6th Gear members are very experienced and skilled drivers. They usually attend most, if not all, 6th Gear events plus other track days each year which contributes to their experience.
All drivers, whether new or current members, are subject to approval by 6th Gear before going trackside.
6th Gear reserves the right to qualify all members and guests on an ongoing basis to maintain the caliber and pace of our track days.
First-time registrant with 6th Gear must consider the following before registering:
- This is an advanced- level high- performance track day with very skilled and fast drivers in attendance.
- 6th Gear restricts all registrants to those drivers that have, or can demonstrate, proficient high- performance driving skill.
- These track days are a single session format ... track opens at 9:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm.
- All drivers must have substantial situational awareness and communication skills with other drivers while on the track.
- First time members are required to be signed off by 6th Gear prior to going track side.
- Drivers that do not get signed off will be offered a coaching session (if available, and for a fee) to assist with acclimatizing to the track and pace.
- If a driver is still unable to get the sign off, 50% of the registration fee paid will be refunded.

As a guide, 6th Gear members attend a minimum of 6 track days per year for previous 3 years, driving solo (without a coach), in advanced run group.
Event registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Coaches need to be arranged prior to a scheduled track day allowing time to source coaches.
